Dancing Spider

Dear spider, what a web you have there,
Each strand carefully placed for your lair.
Flowing so elegantly in its windy current
Making you stop for just a singular moment.

Holding every tear, the sky cried upon you
When landing it ripples its vibration anew.
The sun shining through each drop will reflect.
Colors with no meaning but just the effect.

Spider you have found your precious food
It comes to you with no fear or brood
Once caught by you, you hold while it lay
Round and round you go to your prey.

What a dance you have shown hunter,
Nothing will interrupt your sweet nectar.
Not even I, your very own silent stalker.
Protect me and comfort me my dear spider.
