John and Jane Doe

One is wearing the pelt of sheep
the other of wolves,
which is which we seek
They each their own handfuls.
You fool! You dog!
Idiot! Coward! Child!
You do nothing but a slog
And you, are always too wild.
They throw to each other pressure
And cut none away.
So, layer upon layer
Growing colder, they betray.
Opposite in natures eye
They are together, they are one
And could not be without a lie
So, they dance and have fun.
But time is the enemy
And theirs is ringing the end
Truths are told and set free,
Grieving and making amends.
