Who am I? What do I do?

My ceramic conceptual sculptures explore the intersection of form, materiality, and meaning, inviting viewers to question their perception of the world around them. Through the medium of clay, I seek to engage in a profound dialogue between the inherent qualities of the material and the conceptual ideas I wish to convey. An intuitive discussion between sculpture and storytelling.

My work is a fusion of traditional ceramic techniques and contemporary artistic expression. I am fascinated by the malleability and transformative nature of clay, allowing me to shape and mold it into thought-provoking sculptural forms. Each piece carries a distinct narrative, capturing the essence of personal experiences using my window into reality.

Within my sculptures, I strive to evoke a sense of unrest and inquisition. Through the manipulation of form, texture, and surface treatments, I explore the duality of human existence - the delicate balance between vulnerability and resilience, chaos and order, fragility and strength. I seek to challenge preconceived notions and transcend the boundaries of conventional ceramic art, creating an immersive experience that sparks contemplation and introspection.

Conceptually, my work often delves into the exploration of identity, human connection, and the relationship between the individual and the surrounding environment. By employing symbolic elements, I invite viewers to reflect on their own experiences and perceptions, fostering a deeper understanding of the simplicities of existence.

The interplay of smooth and textured surfaces, organic and geometric forms, and light and shadow serves as a voice for the intricacies and contradictions of life itself.

Ultimately, my ceramic conceptual sculptures aim to provoke thought, evoke emotions, and engage viewers in a multi-dimensional dialogue. By challenging established notions and embracing the unpredictable nature of clay, I aspire to create a new visual language that resonates with audiences, transcending the limitations of words and inviting them to embark on their own personal journey of interpretation and discovery.
